- Quiltcon is next February 2023 in Atlanta and you can now register on the new and improved National Modern Guild website.
- Senior Services has a big push for Christmas in July so let’s all help in this effort. Items encouraged are hygiene health products. Bev says anything is appreciated, some other items to think about is colored pencils, puzzle books, canned meats.
- The raffle quilts are almost finished and we will be able to start taking them around and selling tickets. Each member is being asked to sell $20 worth of tickets ( more if you are able). We will be able to pick up the ticket packets at the July meeting. As this is our way of raising monies to fund our speakers for the following year, we need tickets sales but also places where we can display the quilts and sell tickets. If you have any ideas please contact Ann Monroe. For each additional $20 worth of tickets you sell, your name will be entered again for an end of the raffle prize.
- The July swap is a collapsible tote or grocery bag. Kara sent an email out earlier with ideas and links to patterns if you need one. You do not have to sign up in order to participate. Just make a bag to swap and bring it to the July meeting.
- Round Robins are due in August.
- Our next meeting will be July 26 at Southfork Community Center and there will be some members showing some of their quilts in a Member Spotlight.
